The Planning and Development Research Foundation, Inc. (PLANADES) is pleased to announce that we have once again achieved certification as a Science Foundation by the Department of Science and Technology (DOST). PLANADES has held this esteemed status as a Certified Science Foundation since its establishment in 1976.
The Science and Technology Foundation Unit (STFU) played a pivotal role in overseeing the evaluation process of PLANADES' application. On July 26, 2023, STFU representatives, headed by Engr. Melvin Jusi, Project Development Officer IV, conducted an on-site visit to PLANADES as part of the evaluation procedure. Accompanying him were Mr. Dex Joefel Abino, Ms. Michelle Lolec Calzado, and Ms. Corlita Canilao.
During the visit, Engr. Jusi delivered a comprehensive explanation regarding the DOST application process, outlining the steps for DOST evaluation and certification. He also shared the current status of PLANADES at the time of their visit. Additionally, Dr. Engr. Raza presented PLANADES' Company Profile and introduced its Five-Year Science and Technology Project Strategic Plan for the period 2023-2028.
The STFU conducted a visit to the PLANADES Office as a crucial step in the application process for Science Foundation Certification.
In its capacity as a Certified Science Foundation, PLANADES will persist in its mission to foster the creation, progression, distribution, and utilization of scientific and technical knowledge across various domains of the natural sciences and technology through its various projects.
