EVENT TITLE: PLANADES Executive Director Dr. Engr. Tabassam Raza Participates in Urban Resilience Conference

April 25, 2024 – MANILA, PHILIPPINES, Dr. Engr. Tabassam Raza, Executive Director of PLANADES, participated in the "Breakthrough Resilience: An Urban Resilience Conference" organized by the USAID Climate Resilient Cities Project Team, held on April 25, 2024, at the Sampaguita Hall, Seda Hotel Manila Bay.

Dr. Raza actively participated in the third session of the conference, titled "Cases and Insights on NBS: Policy, Planning, Implementation & Challenges." During this session, he engaged in discussions focusing on the development of Nature-based Solutions (NBS) Decision Maps, updates on National NBS Policies, and examined case studies of urban NBS implementations in Legazpi and Cotabato Cities.

 Dr. Raza's participation underscores PLANADES's commitment to advancing urban resilience and sustainability through innovative and effective policy planning and implementation strategies
